Common questions

Is Lite really free?

Yes. TM S&D Lite is a free Protected TradingView script. Its source code remains private, but any TradingView user who can access the publication can add it to a chart. It does not include alerts, multi-timeframe context or Screener.

What is planned for the Pro Combo?

The planned combo pairs TM S&D Pro for chart context and alerts with TM Screener for watchlist prioritization. It is still in progress. No price, checkout, waitlist, subscription or paid access request is active.

Can I buy Screener separately?

No. Screener and Pro are both still in progress and are not for sale.

Does the indicator place trades?

No. None of the products connects to a broker, places orders, chooses position size or guarantees an entry outcome. They provide structured information for discretionary analysis.

Which version includes alerts?

Lite contains no scripted alerts. The planned Pro indicator adds zone-lifecycle alerts, while the planned Screener adds Demand-approach and Supply-approach conditions. These products are still in progress and are not available for purchase. When released, alert availability and delivery channels will also depend on the user's TradingView plan. How is trend calculated?

Trend is zone-driven. A qualifying demand-zone departure must close above its protected prior structure to confirm Up. A supply-zone departure must close below protected structure to confirm Down. Wick-only sweeps do not change the state.

What do Fair, Good and Best mean?

They are internal quality grades based on the zone's origin and lifecycle. Best is the highest current engine grade; it is not a recommendation, not a promise that price will react, and not a promise that a trade will be profitable.

Does it repaint?

Lifecycle and BOS events are confirmed on closed bars. Higher-timeframe values use completed source bars. Live drawings can update while the current bar is forming, and results may differ when data feeds, sessions or available history differ.

Which charts should I use?

Use standard candlestick charts. Synthetic chart types such as Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Point & Figure and Range are not supported for trade decisions.

Does it work on every market?

The scripts operate on TradingView chart data, but results depend on the symbol's data quality, session, liquidity, gaps, timeframe and available history. Behavior is not identical across all instruments.

Why can a chart zone be missing from Screener?

TradingView Pine Screener currently calculates only the latest 500 bars and supports a defined list of screening intervals. A much older chart zone may be outside the scan window.

Can I request Pro access?

Not yet. The site does not collect Pro access requests or payments. TM S&D Lite is available free from the ShogunSteel published-scripts page on TradingView.

Is TradingView included?

No. TradingView accounts, subscriptions, exchange data and alert allowances are provided separately by TradingView.

Is there anything to cancel or refund?

No. TickerMantis does not currently accept payments or create subscriptions, and Lite is free. TradingView subscriptions and market-data purchases are separate and must be handled with TradingView.
